Every tested appliance receives a colour-coded label showing test status, date of testing, and next recommended test date.

A comprehensive test certificate is emailed to you on the day of testing, listing every appliance with its individual result.

Factors That Affect the Price
Number of Appliances
The more appliances you test, the lower the per-unit rate. Volume testing on large sites can reduce costs to under £1 per appliance.
Type of Equipment
Most standard appliances are tested at the same rate. Some specialist industrial equipment takes longer to test and may carry a small premium.
Timing of Visit
Standard daytime appointments are at our lowest rates. Evening and weekend visits carry a small premium of typically 20–25%.
Additional Services
Adding emergency lighting testing, EICR, or other services to the same visit saves on call-out costs and can reduce your overall compliance spend.

What is the minimum charge for a PAT testing visit?
Our minimum visit charge covers up to approximately 25–30 appliances. For smaller numbers of appliances, a call-out fee applies to cover the engineer's time and travel. Contact us for an exact quote based on your specific requirements.
Are certificates and labels included in the price?
Yes — always. Our quoted prices always include the digital test certificate, appliance labels, and the full test report. We never charge separately for these items.
Is there an extra charge for out-of-hours testing?
Evening and weekend testing carries a small premium — typically 20–25% above standard rates. Many businesses find this worthwhile to avoid disruption to their working day.
Do you offer discounts for multiple sites?
Yes — we offer volume discounts for businesses with multiple premises and for landlords with property portfolios. The more appliances you test in a single programme, the lower the per-appliance rate.
How do I get an exact quote?

Can I pay on the day?
Yes — we accept payment by BACS, card, or cheque. Invoices are issued on the day of testing. For regular customers on annual contracts, monthly or quarterly invoicing can be arranged.
